Local Authority of city ward of Kosice-South
The city ward Košice-Juh (juh means south) is one of the oldest and largest city ward of Košice-city. First allusion is dated to middle ages. In present time has polyfunctional character. It is mixture of living zones (with more than 24 500 inhabitants) and industrial zones.
The local authority of city ward Košice-Juh is the executive agency of municipality of city ward Košice-Juh. It has more than one hundred employees, more than 40 work in administration in the five departments. Local government has 23 elected representatives, who are working in four committees (financial, social, environmental and cultural).
